From The National Technical Desk: Player Report Cards & Self-Reflection

At Kings Hammer, we believe development goes beyond practices and games. True growth happens when players are given the chance to reflect, take ownership, and connect with their coaches and families. Our Player Report Cards are designed to support exactly that.

Kings Hammer is unique because we can track progress at both the individual and club-wide level. Every player benefits from a shared curriculum and teaching methodology across our network, creating the best possible environment for growth.

What are Player Report Cards?

Each season, both players and coaches complete evaluations that spark meaningful dialogue. Players rate themselves using a traffic light system (Green for exceeding expectations, Yellow for meeting expectations, Red for areas needing improvement), while coaches provide detailed feedback with strengths, areas to improve, and action steps. This will come through Playmetrics & live in your forms tab.

By comparing both perspectives, players see where their self-view aligns with their coach’s. This creates space for honest reflection, technical goal setting, and conversations that keep development at the center of the journey.

Why it Matters?

Report cards are not about stats. They focus on players being teachable, resilient, proactive, and team-oriented. They also highlight technical growth such as first touch, passing, striking, communication, and decision making. Then layers alongside mental, physical, and emotional qualities. Together, with coaches guiding, players striving, and families supporting, we can create an environment where every player grows to their fullest potential.

I look forward to seeing these reflections in action and watching our players continue to take ownership of their development. Go Kings Hammer!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH HIGHLIGHT

KH Aris at Amanda North Fall Family Movie Night

KH Aris was invited to take part in Amanda North Elementary’s Fall Family Movie Night, and we had a wonderful evening sharing the game with the community. We set up scrimmages and soccer activities that kids enjoyed playing well into the night!

Our staff were grateful for the chance to connect with families in the Spring Hill area. We’re also excited to announce that more soccer opportunities are on the way! Beginning this spring, KH Aris will offer a 4v4 tournament series and skills clinics, leading into the launch of a new league this fall.

Stay tuned for more details in the coming months—we can’t wait to see you on the field!

MTSU VS VANDY – KINGS HAMMER RECORD BREAKING ATTENDANCE!

Huge shoutout to the Kings Hammer family — your presence tipped the balance. Thanks to your energy and numbers, the MTSU women’s soccer game vs. Vanderbilt saw a recordbreaking crowd.

Proof community support moves the needle! Let’s ride that momentum.  Next match, same spirit — bring the noise. Let’s go Kings Hammer and Blue Raiders!

TOURNAMENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The Strikers Cup needs your help!  Our volunteers continue to be a big part of why our tournaments run so smoothly and we appreciate your willingness to give of your time.  Field Marshalls are needed in 2-hour time blocks for fields and the main responsibility is to be the on-site communication in case of injuries or other needs.  You are not responsible to fix anything; just simply radio it in for us to take care of it.  This year, we are adding a “Hospitality” spot as we aim to be intentional on helping our families/guests.  This person will ride around on a golf cart looking to help people find fields, give rides when needed and just be an overall hospitable person.

Field Marshalls are a great way to volunteer on the field & at the same time your kid is playing to watch and work; hospitality is not ;).

COATS N’ CLEATS DRIVE!

This season, KH Aris is excited to launch our Coats n’ Cleats Drive to support underserved communities across our region. We’ll be collecting gently used coats, cleats, and soccer gear to help families in need stay warm and stay in the game.

We’ll be announcing collection sites and drop-off times soon, but in the meantime, we encourage you to start setting aside items your family has outgrown. Every coat, every pair of cleats, and every piece of gear can make a big difference!

Stay tuned—more details (drop-off locations/dates) coming soon!
