Plan your Kings Hammer Family Night Schedule!

The 2025 Kings Hammer Family Night is just around the corner! Come celebrate the start of the new club season with us on Sunday August 10th as FC Cincinnati take on Charlotte FC at TQL Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear their white Kings Hammer jersey tops to the match to show their support for the club.

Starting at 3:30 PM inside Washington Park, Kings Hammer will have tents located next to the gazebo in the center of the park, where our players, families and staff can connect and meet up! Each Director of Coaching from Greater Cincinnati will be in attendance, providing players and their families a chance to meet and introduce themselves. We also encourage your team to use our tents as a meeting point before the match to hang out, share some laughs and allow families a chance to meet each other in a fun environment.

Additionally, we will have pizza available on a first-come-first-serve basis, for players and families to have a light snack before entering the stadium. There will also be a raffle for families that stop by to win an Alvas Powell autographed FCC Rally Towel.

From Washington Park, teams and families can make their way to TQL Stadium for the match, which will kick off at 6:00pm. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Elite Teams Represents Kings Hammer on the West Coast

This month, three Kings Hammer ECNL teams proudly represented the club at the ECNL National Playoffs, with the boys competing in Seattle and the girls competing in San Diego.

In Seattle, the KH ECNL B09 team made history, securing themselves a perfect 3-0-0 record in group play without conceding a single goal. Their impressive run led them to the Sweet 16, the furthest any Kings Hammer team has advanced at a ECNL National Championship. In a tense knockout match, the boys found themselves trailing 1-0 in the final minutes. With everything to play for, they pushed numbers forward in search of an equalizer but were caught on the counter, resulting in a narrow 2-0 defeat. It was an inspiring run from the B09 team that we’ll remember for years to come.

On the girls’ side, the KH ECNL G11 team also went undefeated in group play, punctuating their performance with a spectacular 3-0 win in their final match. Despite their unbeaten record, they narrowly missed advancing to the Sweet 16, needing just one more goal to progress. Still, their performance was commanding, and they left San Diego with heads held high.

The KH ECNL G09 team competed in the Showcase Cup A, starting strong with a 1-0 win in their opening match. A tightly contested 2-1 loss in game two ended their tournament hopes, but their effort, intensity, and quality of play stood out across all three matches.

Congratulations to each of these teams on all they have accomplished this season. All three teams showed their grit and skill on the national stage and helped close out Kings Hammer’s final chapter in the ECNL on a high note. As we now look ahead to the next exciting chapter with MLS NEXT and the Girls Academy, the foundation is set—and the future is bright!

KH Elite’s Bolte Travels to Compete Overseas

Kings Hammer Elite’s Trevor Bolte had the incredible opportunity to travel to Madrid, Spain to play in the Mad Cup. Trevor represented the USA and played alongside teammates from Australia, Spain, and Grenada, as they competed in the U19 Division. The team went 1-2-2 for the tournament, taking on historical clubs like Rayo Vallecano, Talento Vinotintos, Marcet, and Nacional FC. During downtime, Trevor took the opportunity to learn more about Spain, its culture, and the sport that he loves.

We hope you had an awesome time, Trevor. Way to represent the club!

Zac and Luis make their USL League Two debut with KHFC Cincinnati

These two aren’t afraid of stepping into new opportunities! We want to issue a massive congratulations to Kings Hammer Elite players Luis McVicker and Zac Linenkugal on making club history this month as our youngest players to make their USL League Two debuts.

At just 15 years old, these two rising stars stepped onto the field with KHFC Cincinnati in front of a crowd of about 2,000 against newly promoted USL League One side, Fort Wayne FC. This milestone moment is a testament to our elite player development pathway. We take pride in creating real opportunities for our players to rise through the ranks and perform on the national stage. Congratulations, Luis and Zac!

From the National Technical Desk: Relentless Action

At Kings Hammer, everything we do centers around developing the individual player first and then supporting the team. Our philosophy, called the KH Way, is built on Relentless Action. This means having a constant drive to compete, create opportunities, and fight to win back possession. We want our players to approach every moment of the game with intent and determination.

Relentless Action is about more than effort. It is about players being engaged, making decisions with confidence, and applying what they have learned. We challenge players to dominate in 1v1 situations, take initiative, and be proactive both with and without the ball. These habits are taught at the youngest ages and carried through to our pre-professional players.

As a club, we believe that strong individuals build strong teams. By focusing on the development of each player, we prepare them to help their teammates and raise the overall level of the group. This mindset creates a culture where players compete with energy and purpose in every training session and match.

Whether you are watching a Little Lion take their first touches or one of our pre-professional players competing at the highest level, you will see the same traits: passion, hard work, and an unwillingness to quit. This is the KH Way. This is Relentless Action.

Over the course of this year, you will see short articles and notes from myself and other professionals across our Kings Hammer staff about how to grow as a player or support your players. As we start the year, the foundation of everything will be Relentless Action. As the year continues, we will build on the pillars that will help you thrive to unimaginable heights.

I cannot wait to see all of you out on the fields. Go Kings Hammer!

– Bronson Gambale, KH National Technical Director

Alumni Highlight: Landon Barth!

Earlier this month, Kings Hammer alum and goalkeeper coach Landon Barth made his USL League Two debut with KHFC Cincinnati! Landon played for Kings Hammer SC his entire youth career, and is now playing collegiate soccer at Northern Kentucky University. He also works with our KH GK Union as a goalkeeper coach, leading our next generation of players. Congratulations on this awesome achievement, Landon!
