Register for COE 3v3 Holiday Classic Today!

Get in the Holiday Spirit with some 3v3 Winter Action! Players U8-U19 are invited to participate in the COE 3v3 Holiday Classic on December 7th & 8th! The registration deadline is November 27th, so sign up today!

The COE 3v3 Holiday Classic is a great tournament to give your team a fun and competitive day of fast-paced soccer. Teams will play outdoors on 3v3 small-sized fields and can work on 1v1 attacking, spacing, passing, and defensive positioning. Grab some friends and form a team today! Already have a team from the fall season? Split your team into several 3v3 teams and enjoy a fun day of 3v3 soccer in the Cincinnati area.

Event Highlights and Format:

• A one-day, fast-paced 3v3 soccer tournament for all skill levels
• 24-minute matches with a running clock
• Guaranteed 4 matches per team
• Boys compete on Saturday, girls compete on Sunday
• Max roster size of 6
• Awards for Champions & Finalists in each age division

Join Us at our Kings Hammer Winter Camps!

Kings Hammer is excited to share our upcoming Winter Program offerings. Our Winter Camps are the perfect way to have some fun with your friends, learn new skills and tricks, and further invest in your development. With U5-U19 programming available, we have something for every player to stay on top of their game and sharpen their skills sharp over the winter months. 

WINTER CAMPS (U7 – U19)

Join us this Holiday season for two great winter camp offerings. Our Winter Skills School (U7-U12) & Goalkeeper camp (U9-U14) is a two day technical camp where field players focus on individual skills such as ball control, dribbling and passing/receiving techniques. Goalkeepers focus on shot-stopping, angle play, footwork and more.

Our High-School GK Clinic (U14-U19) is a technically focused clinic, providing high-quality training at an intense pace to help you get ready for post holiday training. Each session will focus on footwork & handling, shot-stopping, crossing techniques and more.

Both camps will be held January 2nd & 3rd at our Cincinnati North and Cincinnati South locations.

JUNIORS CAMP (U5 – U9)

Our Juniors Camp is a player-centered program for new or young players that uses soccer as a tool to help kids reach various physical, cognitive, and psychosocial developmental milestones. This 6-week camp promotes self-confidence and fosters a love of the game through age-appropriate technical activities, fitness, and fun. Come join us this Winter!

FUNDAMENTALS CAMP (U8 – U12)

Designed for soccer players aged U8-U12, this coed camp provides an excellent opportunity to enhance skills and cultivate a passion for the game. Participants will engage in technical and physical training at multiple stations, promoting well-rounded skill development. A provided lunch paves the way for afternoon activities, including small-sided tournaments. This camp guarantees a rewarding experience for young soccer lovers, blending learning with fun!

KH GOALKEEPER SAM LANG IS CALLED UP TO US DEAF MNT

Congratulations to Sam Lang being named to the US Men’s Deaf National Team roster for the 2024 Deaf Pan American Games. The games will be held Nov. 9-16 in Canoas, Brazil and will serve as a qualifier for the 2025 Deaflympics to be held next year in Tokyo, Japan. The club is beyond proud of Sam Lang for his dedication to the sport and this incredible accomplishment!

We’re excited to welcome back to all of our Kings Hammer high school aged players! Before returning for the remainder of the club season, our Kings Hammer Cincinnati/NKY players finished out an incredible high school season. Congratulations to everyone who received State, Regional, Conference and Individual honors!

A Look Back at Gateway Showcase 2024

This month, Kings Hammer held the Women’s and Men’s Gateway Showcase for teams U14 – U19 to get out on the pitch in front of college coaches. We were treated to some incredible competition from both weekends. Kings Hammer would like to give a huge thank you to all of the participating team, staff and collegiate athletic programs that attended this years Gateway Showcase!

November Education: Making the Most of Your Winter Break

For most of our Kings Hammer teams and players, November marks the end of the first part of our soccer calendar, and December brings the start of a significant break for players and parents alike.  The absence of travel, practice, and game-day stress, combined with more time spent with family, can often bring a much-needed break and provides an ideal time for players to recover and recharge.

It also presents unique challenges and opportunities for young athletes to maintain or build fitness, enhance their ball skills, improve game intelligence or understanding, and prepare for the spring season.

REST AND RECUPERATE

Just like during the summer break, families need to recognize the value of some rest during this period.  This is especially important for athletes who have incurred injuries over the course of the fall season.  Rest does not have to mean laying around on the couch for long periods, but perhaps finding less stressful activities (mentally and physically.)

What a thrilling end to the 2024 High School season in Ohio! We’d like to take a moment to recognize and congratulate our players and their teams who were named OHSAA State Champions this weekend.

Congratulations to Kings Hammer coaches Michael Fry and Tony Awor on winning the Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championship with Indian Hill High School. We are proud of both of you on an outstanding season!
