EVENT SITE COORDINATOR
Job Description:
Kings Hammer Merchandise provides temporary opportunities for sports management or event management degree candidates or those who are looking for a little extra income.
This position is a contracted position per event. Event pay is based on location of event and type of event. All event travel expenses are reimbursed or covered. (Must be able to work entire weekend)
25-40 hours per event weekend
Responsibilities:
- Pre event setup if needed
- Assist Event Operations Director and Events Team with development and implementation of onsite logistics plan through the weekend.
- Maintain visibility around fields and event headquarters and ensure event runs smoothly
- Post event tear down
- Other duties as assigned
- Conflict Resolution as needed.
- Handle Rules and Scoring questions as needed.
- Interact with coaches, team managers and assist with any questions they may have.
- Pre load event trailer
- Pre event operational preparation
- Online team check-in verification and communication
- Post event unload and inventory
Preferred Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong communication and organization skills to be able to manage numerous projects at once.
- Willingness to ask questions, give their input, accept advice and take direction.
- Creative problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and equipment.
- Passion for event management.
