Kings Hammer Soccer Club and Warren County Soccer Academy partner to create Kings Hammer North

Cincinnati, OH (December 1st, 2020) – Kings Hammer Soccer Club, one of the largest youth soccer programs in the region, announced today that it is expanding its soccer operations in Greater Cincinnati (Warren County) with a new partnership with Warren County Soccer Academy.

The partnership will begin effective immediately and will bring about a plan to impact the following areas:

  1. Improving local, state, regional and national playing opportunities for the current and future player pools in the area.
  2. Creating opportunities in education, learning and development for directors, staff, and coaches through the Kings Hammer network.
  3. Improving the customer service experience for parents while cultivating an inclusive culture and environment.
  4. Improving local and regional facilities.

“With our partnership with Warren County Soccer Academy, we will unite soccer in the Greater Cincinnati area and create one of the strongest player pools in this region,” said Kevin McCloskey, Chief Operating Officer of Kings Hammer Soccer Club. “Bringing together talented leaders, coaches and players with the addition of top-level facilities will provide one of the strongest soccer environments and cultures available in this area. Staying true to our values, Kings Hammer will be an inclusive club for all.”

“Growth rarely comes from standing still in a soccer community that should always be looking to evolve,” said Lindsay Basalyga, Executive Director of Warren County Soccer Academy. “We’re excited to work alongside a staff of directors and coaches that share our values and vision for the role club soccer plays in the lives of our young people. Both organizations possess a wide variety of experiences, skill sets, and resources that will undoubtably elevate the club experience in our region. I’m grateful that we get to grow with likeminded professionals as we work together to overcome obstacles, find solutions, and work to provide new opportunities for players and families in our region.”

Josh Seuberling, President of Warren County Soccer Academy commented, "It is not very often organizations are presented with opportunities such as this one. The advancement and support that will be afforded our players, our families, and our community will be unmatched in the market. To have two financially strong, ethically driven, and well-respected clubs come together and agree on a future direction is certainly exciting and will lay the foundation for great things to come!"

More information about this partnership will be released shortly throughout all communication channels.

In addition to the regionally and nationally recognized Kings Hammer Soccer Academy (KHA), Kings Hammer Soccer Club will now offer community programs to serve the following Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky areas:

Kings Hammer North (Warren County and surrounding areas)
Kings Hammer Sycamore (Sycamore Township and surrounding areas)
Kings Hammer Central (Hamilton County, Kenton County, Campbell County and Pendleton County)
Kings Hammer South (Boone County, Gallatin County, Grant County)

Additionally, Kings Hammer Bluegrass offers youth soccer programs in central Kentucky serving the greater Lexington area.

Each of the community locations will offer the following programs:

  • Little Lions Program (under 3-under 7 ages) – The Little Lions Program introduces new and beginner players to the game of soccer. The eight-week sessions are 30 minutes long and held at various facilities and schools throughout the region. Using soccer as a tool to help kids reach various physical and cognitive development milestones, the program also promotes self-confidence and fosters the love of the game.
  • Juniors Program (under 5-under 7 ages) – The Kings Hammer Juniors Program is a player-centered program that offers players the opportunity to develop technical fundamentals, balance/agility/coordination, and most importantly a fun and safe learning environment.
  • Youth Program (under 7-under 10 ages) – The Youth Program is designed for young players that are committed to the sport of soccer. The primary focus of the youth program is player development. Players are placed on age appropriate pools or teams to allow them to develop in the best environment. These appropriate environments are created to develop and challenge each player based on their current ability. Teams are created through the tryout period.
  • Pre-Academy Program (under 11-under 19 ages) – The Pre-Academy Program is designed to provide players with the opportunity to train and prepare for the journey to our Kings Hammer Academy Program. The Pre-Academy also provides the opportunity for players to play other sports or have other interests outside of soccer. This program is designed to be flexible, convenient, and affordable.

These programs create a clear pathway to the Kings Hammer Academy, which is one of the highest levels of development environments in the region. The Academy Program provides elite level coaching, facilities and competition to its players and teams. Kings Hammer Academy has produced players that have played at the state, regional, national, collegiate, and professional levels.
