U.S. Soccer Provides Update on the Path Forward for Player Registration

We’ve received official confirmation from U.S. Soccer on the path forward for player registration. For full information, please see U.S. Soccer’s Path Forward Plan. Per U.S. Soccer, there will be no registration change for the 2025-2026 season. However, starting in the fall of 2026, they have shared that leagues will have reasonable flexibility to choose the best registration option for their participants. 

U.S. Soccer is working quickly to set further guidance for the next steps in the implementation process. Please be assured that we’ll continue to work closely and proactively with U.S. Soccer to be prepared to support you through all possible outcomes in 2026-27 and beyond. As a player-centric organization, we pride ourselves on a player-first approach and will continue to act in the best interest of each individual athlete in our club.
