MTSU Blue & White Season Kickoff Event
We’re grateful to MTSU Women’s Soccer for hosting an incredible Season Kickoff event! Our Kings Hammer players enjoyed a fun day of scrimmage games on campus, followed by cheering on the MTSU Blue Raiders in their annual Blue & White match. A special thank-you to the KH coaches who came out and supported the players — your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. We’re excited to continue building this partnership throughout the season! Next up – KH Day on 9/21 match MTSU take on Jax State!

KH Elite 2013G NPL Team – Rocket City Tournament Champs!
The 2013 Girls NPL Elite team kicked off their season in impressive fashion, bringing home the championship from the Rocket City Invitational! It was a great first event for this newly formed group, and we’re excited to see their progress throughout the year. Congratulations, ladies — we’re looking forward to a fun and successful season ahead!

WCS PE Teacher Development Day
We’re proud to share that two of our directors — Adrian Baeza (DOC, KH Aris Zone 2) and Nathan McBeth (Grassroots Director, KH Murfreesboro) — recently participated in the Williamson County Schools PE Professional Development Day.
As part of this collaborative initiative, they led a hands-on demonstration for elementary PE teachers, offering simple and engaging soccer-based drills and activities that can be used during their 2–3-week soccer units. Big thanks to the teachers who jumped in as “players” during the session — your enthusiasm made it a fun and productive experience!

Fall Training Underway
We’re excited to be back on the pitch with our players as the fall season kicks off! It’s been great to see so many familiar faces returning — and to welcome new ones — as teams begin working with their coaches and building early chemistry. The energy at training has been incredibly positive, and our staff is already seeing great effort and focus from the players. We can’t wait to see all this hard work come to life on game days!

Juniors / Pre-Academy / Pre-Elite Open with Intra-Club Action
Our Zone 1 fall season kicked off with a day full of intra-club friendlies between Kings Hammer Murfreesboro and Kings Hammer Aris. It was a great opportunity for our younger teams to get touches on the ball, connect with teammates, and enjoy game-day energy early in the season. Even better than the soccer was the collaboration and community spiriton display. Coaches, families, and players from both clubs came together to support one another — a refreshing and exciting sign of what’s to come this season.

From the National Technical Desk: Dedication & Parental Support
At Kings Hammer, we believe the environment around the player is just as important as the training sessions themselves. Last week I shared a note with our families about the role parents play in creating a positive game-day experience. If you missed it, you can check it out here. The message is simple: coaches coach, players play, and parents support. When each of us leans into our role, players are free to grow, learn, and enjoy the game. This is how we create the best environment for each individual.
As we kick off the fall season and competition ramps up, we want to be known for having a firm three-legged stool of support: the club, the player, and the family. Each carries the weight of development together, standing firm with all the tools needed to succeed. I challenge everyone to use the Levels of Dedication Journal (also available in your PlayMetrics account under Club Resources) as a guide. It was created to give families and players the tools to dig deeper and elevate growth not only on the field but also off it. This week, I encourage you to sit down with your kids, or for older players take ownership yourselves, and set aside time after training or games to reflect. Players can rate themselves in the journal, and parents can join the conversation by asking questions and listening. These small moments help keep growth at the center of the journey.
The journal focuses on four key areas of dedication:
- Teachable – being open to instruction and feedback.
- Vocal – using their voice to encourage and support teammates.
- Physical – giving maximum effort in each drill and moment.
- Emotional – showing selflessness, resilience, and a team-first mentality.
When players are self-reflective in these areas, they become like sponges, soaking up lessons from every practice, game, and challenge. Instead of focusing on wins or stats, try asking, “How teachable were you today?” or “How did you show emotional dedication for your team?” These conversations build habits that last far beyond one season and strengthen each leg of the stool, all pointing toward the vision of full individual development.
Together, with coaches guiding, players striving, and families supporting in the right way, we can create an environment where every player thrives.
As always, I look forward to being out on the fields, seeing our players, coaches, and teams representing. Go Kings Hammer!
-Bronson Gambale, KH National Technical Director
