KHM Introduces Academy Program
Murfreesboro, TN – March 26, 2024 – Kings Hammer Murfreesboro Soccer Club is excited to announce the launch of the Kings Hammer Academy Program for the upcoming 2024/2025 Season. This marks a significant milestone in the club’s commitment to providing exceptional player development opportunities for athletes in Murfreesboro and the Greater Nashville region.
The Kings Hammer Academy Program is designed to elevate players’ skills and foster excellence across all levels. It offers professional coaching, top-notch facilities, structured training, and competitive opportunities for young athletes seeking to excel in soccer.
Representing the next step in the club’s Player Development Pathway, the Kings Hammer Academy Program is offered to ages 10U to 19U. It provides comprehensive training to prepare athletes for elite competition and collegiate recruitment. As part of the program, Pre-Academy players aged 10U to 12U will have the opportunity to participate in regional league play, while Academy players aged 13U to 19U will compete in the National Premier Leagues (NPL), a platform that showcases top talent from across the country.

Tournament Champions & Finalists
Congrats to our KHM B10 Premier 1 team for coming home Champions and our KHM B12 Premier 1 team Finalists from the Horizon Cup in Huntsville, AL. this past weekend!
We had a blast attending the inaugural Defenders Cup! Congratulations to our KHM B14, B15 and G13 Premier 1 teams on winning and KHM G15 Premier 1 team on finishing as finalists! Thanks to all our families who traveled to Panama City Beach for a great weekend!
GK Union Save of the Month
Congratulations to Kings Hammer Murfreesboro’s own, Miles W for being named one of February’s GK Union’s Save of the Month!
Did you make an incredible save or a game-saving block? We want to see them! Post your best saves in the Kings Hammer GK Union Facebook group or share on Twitter using the hashtag #KingsHammer. Be sure to share throughout the spring season and YOU could be selected for our Kings Hammer Save of the Month! GK Save of the Month winners will be announced the Friday of the first full week of the following month.
Monthly winners will be posted on the Kings Hammer social pages and on the GK Union page.
KHM at NSC
We had a blast at Kings Hammer Murfreesboro night at Nashville Soccer Club on March 10th. We had a great time taking part in walkouts & post game kick-about. Thanks for having us!
Orange Badge Referee’s
Taking their first steps into officiating. Kings Hammer Murfreesboro players Sari D., Tinsley M., Ava O., Chapel B., Hannah D., Haley B., Owen G., and Harrison C., took part in a Recreational Soccer Badge course gaining their orange badge. Way to go!
Grassroots in Full Swing
The 2024 Spring Grassroots season is underway! Looking forward to a great season with everyone.
March Education: Let Them Play & Enjoy the Game
The idea for this month’s topic began with observations from attending some recent league and tournament games. It was then enhanced by a social media post I saw about letting the kids enjoy themselves in the game, giving the game back to them.

As I began to research the topic and put together an outline, I came across more and more posts that captured the spirit of what I thought were foundational pieces of our role as parents and supporters of the young athletes playing within our club. Maybe the words had already been written for me! I hope these words resonate with each of you as well.
- Child’s Experience – Remember that this athletic journey is your child’s, not yours. Allow them to OWN their successes AND failures. Support them without dictating their path.
