2025/2026 Tryout Reminders

  1. Please arrive at Siegel Soccer Park 20-30 minutes prior to your tryout time. We have several hundred players to check in and the parking lot will be busy.
  2. Players need to come with a soccer ball, cleats, shin guards and a water bottle. They will be given a tryout shirt to wear with their tryout number on it. This shirt needs to be worn every day that the player is asked to try out. You will not be given a new shirt each day.
  3. We will be using the turf fields 1-4 for tryouts. You must check in each day at the registration pavilion near the restrooms/center of fields.
  4. After you check your player in with one of our staff or volunteers please stay with your child in the designated holding areas near the pavilion. Do not go to the fields until it is announced that it is time to do so.
  5. On the first night, the Coaches and DOC’s (Directors of Coaching) will speak with parents and kids at the holding area before the tryout starts to go over expectations of the tryout.
  6. Parents can stay on the fence line of the fields; however, parents are asked not to be in the middle area between fields 1 & 2 or the middle area between fields 3 & 4.
  7. Please be aware that our coaches will be evaluating your player using the PlayMetrics app. They WILL be on their phones during the tryout to input scores and notes to track your players’ performance.
  8. When the tryout finishes on the first night, coaches and DOC’s will communicate with parents about what is needed for the next night. It is expected that the player comes to every night of the tryouts. *Please note that coaches will have another tryout to conduct immediately following the first session and will not have time to answer questions. Please email the DOC or send them a message in PlayMetrics.
  9. After the final night of tryouts coaches will reach out via email or phone call within 48 hours. Parents will then have 24 hours to register their player or be at risk of losing their roster spot. With the registration email there will also be information about uniform ordering.
  10. We know that this can be a stressful time for you and your players, however we want your kids to have fun and enjoy playing soccer! Encourage your kids to do their best, try their hardest and leave it all on the pitch.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our membership services coordinator or the program DOC.
