Kings Hammer Murfreesboro families are invited to attend a sample clinic viewing of T.O.A’s Speed School on Thursday, November 16th from 6-7pm at Richard Siegel Soccer Complex Indoor Arena. The speed school will be led by T.O.A and 3 KH Murfreesboro teams will take part/participate for our members/parents/players to view with a nutrition guidance at the end. Attending families will have the opportunity order their Jimmy John’s in advance that will be delivered to the fields to enjoy at the end. (Form located in link at bottom of story)

About T.O.A
T.O.A Speed School is a program that teaches athletes how to enhance acceleration, deceleration, and explosive athletic qualities on the pitch with T.O.A Sports Performance coaches Lauren Dreitlein, Marci Beck, and Jack Propst. T.O.A’s Speed School will help develop each athlete’s running mechanics, gait and ultimate soccer performance! One of the benefits to a fundamentally sound speed program is its contribution to injury prevention, and important development of the brain-body connection. We will be taking athletes through a proper, safe, and effective warm-up, followed by speed specific movement preparation, and bringing it all together with max effort sprints. This minicamp is designed to familiarize you and your athletes with the process of effectively preparing your athletes to perform on the pitch from the mechanical standpoint of speed and repeat sprint ability.
Following the T.O.A Speed School, Emma Nelson, T.O.A’s Registered Dietitian, will be providing valuable insight to the importance of pre- and post-training nutrition & hydration. The relationship between nutrition & performance is direct and Emma will provide tips and strategies for nutrient timing and composition around training. You can’t be effective without the adequate and timely nutrition soccer athletes require.
Jimmy John’s Box Lunch Order Form
KH Murfreesboro has partnered with Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches to cater this event.
If you would like Jimmy John’s delivered to you after the event, please complete the order form below and the store will take care of the rest! Each box lunch contains a sandwich, bag of chips, cookie, and pickle spear (along with napkins, mayo, and mustard packets). On Monday the 13th or Tuesday the 14th, expect a call from Troy Jackson, the Catering Manager at the Jimmy John’s on N Thompson Lane. He will confirm your order and submit your card info for payment. The store phone number that he’ll be calling from is (615) 867-7200. The total for the box lunch is going to be between $9-12 before tax, depending on the type of sandwich selected.
