What a weekend for our all of teams competining in the 2025 Nona Cup. Our 2016 Pre-Elite Boys and Girls and 2013 Elite Girls all fought, believed, and came out as 2025 Nona Cup CHAMPIONS! We are proud of them all.

Our Juniors 2017 boys and girls teams and 2015 Pre Elite teams battled their way into the finals and finished as finalists. Their growth and efforts continue to impress us. Great work everyone.

Girls Academy East Regional Showcase- High Performance Player Pathway

We’re proud to share that two of our High Performing Players, Maeve Corbett (2012) and Olivia Enechukwu (2013), were invited to join the Kings Hammer Cincinnati Girls Academy teams for their 2012 and 2013 age groups at the Girls Academy East Regional Showcase that took place at IMG Academy on Nov 7-9! Our Kings Hammer Cincinnati Girls Academy 2012 & 2013 ladies brought the competition and welcomed our Swan City High Performance Players, Maeve and Olivia, with open arms. The coaching was top class, and our girls gained great experience both on and off the field. We love seeing our HPP pathway in action — connecting players and opportunities across all our locations.

2012 Elite DPL Ladies invited to Girls Academy East Regional Showcase

We’re proud of our Kings Hammer Swan City 2012 Elite DPL ladies who were invited to compete in the Girls Academy East Regional Showcase at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Nov. 7–9! Through our partnership with Auburndale Scream Soccer Club, these players have continued to grow, develop, and perform at a high level in DPL — earning them this incredible opportunity. From great goals to top competition from around the nation— we couldn’t be prouder of this group for taking on the challenge and having success. Thank you Girls Academy League for having them!

Our GK Director, Ash Hill, two days assisting at the Girls Academy GK Clinics during the GA East Regional Showcase! A big thank you to the Girls Academy for having him and providing such an amazing environment for player development!

Southeastern University Girls Clinic

Monday November 17th was an absolute blast with the Southeastern Fire women’s soccer team and coaching staff! Our girls had so much fun, and we are incredibly grateful to the SEU ladies for taking the time to pour into our players — encouraging them, inspiring them, and helping them continue to love the game.

Florida Southern Mens Clinic

What a night our boys had on Tuesday November 18th. Our boys showed up, worked hard, and had an incredible experience with the Florida Southern Men’s Soccer Team at Lake Parker Park for our Boys Clinic.

Big thank-you to FSC for spending the evening with our players and helping inspire the next generation!

Community Moments that Matter

Our Elite Boys Director, Nick Rich, recently spent the morning at Willow Oak Elementary for the Great American Teach-In! We love every chance to step into our community, connect with students, and share the beautiful game with the next generation. Huge thank you to Willow Oak for having us—we hope the kids had as much fun learning as Coach Nick did teaching!

Featured Education: “Fitness & Body: Preparing Our Players for Relentless Action” by Nick Rich

At Kings Hammer, we believe relentless action starts with preparation. Technical skills and tactical understanding are critical, but without proper care for the body, players can’t perform at their best. Nutrition, sleep, and recovery aren’t extras; they’re essentials for growth.

Coaches want to push players forward. Parents want to see their children succeed. Most young athletes dream of playing at the highest level, whether that’s college soccer or even the pros. But dreams only become reality when actions match ambition. The players who rise to the top are the ones who take ownership of every controllable detail. They analyze, adjust, and upgrade their habits so their bodies can perform at peak level, day after day.

Fuel Matters
Nutrition is one of the most important factors in athletic development. How players fuel themselves impacts energy, focus, performance, and long-term growth. The right foods at the right times can be the difference between plateauing and progressing toward the next level.

Recovery Is Non-Negotiable
With distractions like phones, gaming, and social media, sleep has quietly become one of the biggest challenges for today’s youth athletes. Yet sleep is arguably the most powerful recovery tool they have. Adequate rest improves speed, decision-making, mood, and injury resilience. As a club and as families, we must help players prioritize the sleep they need.

To support this mission, I’ve created a short video featuring a strength and conditioning expert who breaks down essential habits for youth athletes: nutrition, preparation, recovery, and everything in between. Please take a moment to watch and share it with your player. Every small improvement adds up, and these habits may be the key to unlocking their true potential.

Go Kings Hammer!

Nick Rich, KH Swan City Elite Girls Director
