Staff Spotlight: Coach Mike Chrivia

Kings Hammer Bay United is proud of our clubs long standing history in Panama City Beach and the Panhandle, servicing players and their families for over 25 years! Our club would not have earned it’s reputation without the hard work and effort from our great coaches! Get to know our team in our new coach spotlight series. Up first is coach Mike Chrivia.
Coach Mike Chrivia brings over 17 years of coaching experience to Kings Hammer Bay United. A long time coach within our club, Coach Mike has worked with every age group in the club’s development pathway, creating strong connections with our entire organization. Additionally, he has 12 years of high school coaching experience, highlighted by leading the Bay High Boys Soccer team to their first District Championship in over a decade.
As a player, Coach Mike’s soccer journey spans more than 40 years. He played high school varsity soccer, helping his team reach the Georgia state quarterfinals. He continued his playing career at the club level, where his team won the Georgia Division IB title. During his 22-year career in the U.S. Air Force, he was selected for the All-Air Force Team and earned the opportunity to play professionally for a short period with King’s Lynn Town Football Club in England, competing in the National League.
Coach Mike is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of players, both on and off the field. He is committed to developing well-rounded athletes who are not only skilled soccer players but also respectful, driven, and team-oriented individuals.
