Kings Hammer Soccer Club is proud to announce that Barcelona United is joining the organization and will transition to Kings Hammer Barcelona in the months ahead.

Founded in 2011, Barcelona has built a youth soccer community in Pickerington and Central Ohio with a clear focus on player development and competitive growth. The club will continue operating from Pickerington alongside Kings Hammer New Albany as part of the broader Kings Hammer organization.

This addition strengthens Kings Hammer’s presence in Columbus and reflects the club’s continued growth in the region. By joining Kings Hammer, players and families will benefit from expanded resources, collaboration across clubs, and broader competitive opportunities — while building on the strong foundation already in place.

For the upcoming spring season, programming and team structures will continue as planned. The transition to Kings Hammer Barcelona will be introduced thoughtfully, with additional updates shared as plans continue to take shape.

“We’re excited to welcome Barcelona into Kings Hammer,” said Johnny Ulry, General Manager of Kings Hammer New Albany. “This is an important step as we continue building a strong future for players and families in Columbus.”

“We’re proud of our club and excited about what this means for our players and families,” said Danielle Smith of Barcelona United. “Joining Kings Hammer allows us to keep building while creating even more opportunity moving forward.”

More information will be shared in the coming weeks as the integration moves forward.
