JACOB MORRISON NAMED USL W-LEAGUE HEAD COACH AT KINGS HAMMER FC

Kings Hammer FC proudly announces the appointment of Jacob Morrison as the USL W-League Head Coach. With an extensive background in soccer coaching and a track record of success, Morrison brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for player development to his new role.

Morrison’s educational background includes a Masters of Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University, with a specialization in Soccer Coaching education, and a Premier Diploma from United Soccer Coaches.

With a proven coaching record, Morrison most recently served as the Director of Goalkeeping and Assistant Coach at Xavier University Women’s Soccer, boasting an impressive overall record of 42-11-10. His leadership has contributed to Xavier’s achievements as BIG East Regular Season Champions in 2021 and 2023, and his coaching prowess has helped produce top goalkeepers and defenders in the nation.

KH Goalkeeper Austin Nowak plays in Boys ECNL National Selection Game

Kings Hammer ECNL B05/06 goalkeeper Austin Nowak put in a top-level shift in the Boys ECNL National Selection Game. After the match, Austin celebrated with his parents and KHSC coach, Tony Gray. Way to go, Austin!

Kings Hammer teams rock Gatlinburg at SE College Girls Showcase

We had 2 of our KHA teams attend the SE College Girls Showcase in Gatlinburg earlier this month and we are so proud of their fantastic performances! Our KHA2 Cincinnati North G07 team were Finalists, going 2-1-0, scoring ten goals and only giving up one. Our KHA1 Cincinnati North G09 team finished as Champions, going 3-0-0 without being scored on the entire weekend! Congrats on an awesome weekend in Rocky Top, ladies!

Kings Hammer players rep Ohio in ODP Interregional

Shout out to Kings Hammer players Stella Schaffeld, Jake Szoldatits and Aubrey Blakely for their performance in the 2024 ODP Interregional Showcase in Memphis this month! We love seeing our players representing Ohio. Congratulations, guys!

Kings Hammer Sycamore holds Winter FUNdamentals Camp

Kings Hammer Sycamore held its Winter FUNdamental Camp on February 19th, 2024 at FX Athletic Performance in Blue Ash, OH. Thank you to all the players who came out and had some FUN with us at our Sycamore Winter FUNdamentals Camp! Our campers had a blast working with Kings Hammer staff to develop their skills, hanging with their friends to enjoy a delicious pizza lunch and finishing up the day with some 4v4 games. Thank you to all the Kings Hammer staff, coaches and volunteers who made this camp possible. We can’t wait to see you all again at the next one!

February Education: Let’s Discuss Gratitude

Throughout February, our partners at Soccer Parenting have been focusing on the theme of “Gratitude” in youth soccer. Kings Hammer supports this idea because we believe gratitude is foundational to our desire to build a strong community within our club and continue to develop an environment in which youth athletes can thrive. 

Gratitude is a powerful quality that can transform our perspective and enhance our soccer experience in countless ways.  Gratitude is positivity and being grateful for the things, people, and experiences in our lives.  It is the feeling of appreciation and thankfulness. It rises in the desire to return kindness and joy to others. 

Whether you’re a parent supporting your child’s passion, a coach shaping young minds, or a player chasing your dreams, we are fortunate to have soccer in our lives.  So, our first step should be to reflect and appreciate the privilege and opportunities it presents.
